You should be comfortable in your office. But studies have shown that many people at work experience air drafts or glare from the sun or lights that impact productivity and sometimes create health problems such as eyestrain, headaches or stiff necks. In many cases, employees are not allowed to adjust their air vents or window blinds to help mitigate these conditions.
Our new flagship product, the Office Shade (also known as the Cubicle Shade), protects you from that annoying glare or draft. Designed for individual comfort, the Office Shade provides a personalized solution, positively impacting productivity and morale in the workplace.
The Office Shade is a stylish, personal shade that mounts to your desk in your office or cubicle and moves easily to block that annoying glare on your computer screen. With a tilt up to 90 degrees and a rotation of 360 degrees, virtually any adjustment is possible. Due to its unique construction, the Shade moves in-and-out and side-to-side with ease. The Office Shade can also serve as a privacy screen, shield and cover for your monitor. It also protects against drafts and harmful UV rays.
The Office Shade is offered in two different sizes: standard (20.5”x28.5”) and over-sized (23”x35”). The standard Shade is available in two colors, jet black and midnight blue. The jet black Shade, constructed from premium PVC foam board, is considered self-extinguishing and complies with Underwriters Laboratories international fire resistive standard UL 94, Classification 0. The jet black shade will block the glare from the sun and overhead lights. The midnight blue Shade, constructed from frosted acrylic plastic, reduces the glare and gently diffuses light, creating a subtle blue-colored hue at your desk. The oversized charcoal black Shade, crafted from Gator foam board, provides maximum coverage and will also block the glare and light.
For those who would like an alternate Shade color or size, the Shades are offered for sale without the Support Unit. However, the Shades are designed to connect to the Office Shade support system only, so a prior purchase of the Support Unit is required. It is extremely simple to change the Shade on the Support Unit. Please refer to the installation video or instructions.
The Support Unit is adjustable to fit most desks and work surfaces with a clamping range of ½ inch to 2 ½ inches. The unit requires only 3/8 inch clearance between the desk and wall for mounting making it ideal for most cubicle environments (both desk clamp and grommet mount hardware are included). The double extension support arms allow for 19” of back and forth movement. The arms conveniently fold back to the pole to free desk space when necessary.

Helpful Tip: Always remember to move the Shade to the vertical position before tilting it up or down.
